Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Milkman Combo Trainer (the "Service"), operated by Ravenous Raven Design (the "Operator", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using any feature of the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance of terms

By using the Service you confirm you've read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in jurisdictions where that's the local minimum age for online services) to create an account. By signing up, you represent that you meet this minimum age.

3. Accounts

• You sign in via Google OAuth. You're responsible for keeping your Google account secure — anyone with access to your Google account can access your Milkman Combo Trainer data.
• One human, one account. Don't create multiple accounts to bypass rate limits or trial periods.
• You can delete your account at any time by emailing us. See the Privacy Policy for details on data deletion.

4. Free tier

The Free tier is provided "as-is" at no cost and includes the Combo Trainer with three quiz modes, the Deck Analyzer, and stats syncing across devices. Free features may change or be limited at any time. We'll do our best to give notice in advance.

5. Premium subscriptions

Pricing

• $4 / month, billed monthly via Stripe.
• $39 / year (or whatever annual price is shown at signup), billed once per year.
• Pricing may change for new subscribers; existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days before any price change to their renewal.

What Premium includes

• Save up to 50 decks
• Play Coach (AI play recommendations) — limited to 15 asks per 24 hours and 100 per 30 days, subject to fair-use review
• Train from saved decks
• 4+ card combos
• Combo prerequisites and explanations
• Cross-device stats sync
• Ad-free experience

Free trial

New Premium subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Cancel any time during the trial to avoid being charged. If you don't cancel, the subscription renews automatically at the rate you signed up at.

Renewals and cancellation

• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
• Cancel anytime through your account or by emailing us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep Premium access until then.
• We don't do partial-period refunds for cancellations after the trial. See our Refund Policy for the full details.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry per their standard schedule. If we can't successfully charge after the retry window, your account drops to the Free tier and your saved decks become read-only (we don't delete them — you keep access if you re-subscribe).

6. AI features (Play Coach) — important disclaimers

The Play Coach feature uses large language models (Claude via OpenRouter) to generate play recommendations. By using it, you understand and agree:

• Recommendations may be wrong. AI models can miscount mana, miss interactions, ignore replacement effects, or hallucinate cards. We've added safeguards, but mistakes will happen. Always double-check before committing to a play.
• Not for tournament use. This is a learning and practice aid, not a tournament tool. Following an incorrect AI recommendation in a sanctioned event is your responsibility.
• No warranty of accuracy. We make no guarantees that Coach recommendations follow the comprehensive rules, current banlist, or any specific format ruling.
• Your inputs are not stored long-term. See the Privacy Policy for details.
• Rate limits exist for cost reasons. If you hit the daily or monthly cap, you'll be asked to wait until it resets.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, bulk-download, or programmatically harvest content from the Service beyond reasonable individual use.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to extract our proprietary scoring logic, prompts, or AI configurations.
• Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm any other person.
• Impersonate another player or entity.
• Bypass rate limits or quota caps via multiple accounts, automation, or other technical means.
• Attempt to access data belonging to other users.
• Use the Service to test, train, or benchmark third-party AI systems without prior written permission.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

8. Intellectual property

Our content

The Service's code, design, copy, curated combo lists, scoring algorithms, brand assets, and articles are owned by the Operator. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute them without permission.

Magic: The Gathering content

Magic: The Gathering, all card names, card images, mana symbols, and related marks are the property of Wizards of the Coast. We use card names and oracle text under fan content / nominative fair use guidelines. Card images are served from Scryfall per their API terms.

Third-party data

• Combo data is provided by Commander Spellbook under their open license.
• Card data is provided by Scryfall per their API terms.
• Format rules and banlist are sourced from the Commander Rules Committee.
• Brackets system is sourced from Wizards of the Coast.

Your content

Decks you save belong to you. By saving a deck URL through the Service, you grant us a limited license to fetch the public deck data from Moxfield/Archidekt and display it back to you within your account. That's the only thing we do with your saved decks.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI recommendations will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator's total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including but not limited to lost games, lost rankings, lost tournaments, or lost cardboard self-esteem.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms or any harmful behavior toward other users or the Service. You may terminate your account at any time. Upon termination, the rights and licenses granted to you under these terms cease immediately.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be announced by updating the "Last updated" date and emailing active accounts. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the Operator resides, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these terms will be resolved in the courts located in that jurisdiction, except where applicable consumer-protection laws give you the right to bring claims locally.

14. Independent fan-made tool

Milkman Combo Trainer is an independent fan-made tool. Magic: The Gathering and related marks are property of Wizards of the Coast. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by Wizards of the Coast, Scryfall, Commander Spellbook, or the Commander Rules Committee.
